Jason Betts,

AAMS, CPM® Certified Portfolio Manager® Practice Business Manager

If there is one truth at the center of Jason’s approach to managing wealth, it’s that goals aren’t achieved accidentally. Goals are the product of commitment and purpose. Hard work is important, but you can’t reach a goal without knowing where it is, let alone what it is.

In working with affluent families, business owners and high-achievement individuals including professional athletes, Jason helps them apply the same skills that have brought them success to their financial goals. He commits to his clients and their lasting well-being, helping them keep their objectives in sight and their wealth thoughtfully positioned in the market.

Jason grew up in a close family with little financial security, but strong values. His parents’ examples helped him achieve his goals for himself and his family as he learned how to invest and manage money at an early age. While the life and lifestyle of his Pacific Northwest factory-worker father are far different than the Los Angeles leaders and movers he works with in his practice, the principals of goal-oriented financial planning are universal, as are the benefits of a personalized financial plan. Jason helps his clients become comfortable talking about money, and by listening deeply, he works to understand what they truly value. He communicates concepts clearly and strives to make sure his clients feel confident in their financial decision-making, designed to prepare for lasting financial well-being.

One of the hardest questions to answer is “What are your goals?” Often I’ll hear, “to have enough,” but when you are able to go deeper and describe your goals clearly, you can start be more strategic. You start thinking about money not in terms of “enough” but in terms of “opportunity.” It’s a huge change in mindset.
